Poll: Windows or Tabs?

A relatively straightforward question: Do you use tabs or windows when browsing the internet?

This stems from my mother's overuse of clunky windows filling up the bar at the bottom versus my smooth and simple control of the internet through the power of tabs. I'm only a bit biased.

Tabs. They're easier to open and easier to close. I'm pretty sure they also eat less RAM.

Tab it up a notch! Easily the best innovation of modern browsers (well, bar all the speed updates, heh). Chrome's are better than older Firefox's though, as you can drag them out into their own windows and then recombine flexibly Great when you have a large enough monitor

Tabs without a doubt. Unless I need to see two things at the same time, in which case "Open in new Window" option under tabs is lovely.

Tabs. I'd fit into a third option though. When I start overloading on tabs, then I open another window. It's easier to sort through that way.

I prefer windows generally because I like using key commands - so I can alt-tab between them. However I prefer tabs at work: no matter how many non-work things I'm doing I can always alt-tab when someone walks by

Opening up more than one window when my browser has tab support feels like getting up and pushing the buttons on the television to change channels - needlessly backwards and old-fashioned. Which makes visiting users desks to fix something and seeing 17 (A)IE(EEE) windows open so pathetic.

The worst part is I know I've shown them they can open tabs at least 3 times so far.
