Hi all!

In a little bit of a dilemma. My mobile phone contract is set to expire in a month and I'm undecided on getting a Windows Phone 7 or Android phone.

The two phones that have my interest (that my carrier currently supply) are the

Samsung Galaxy S

or the

LG Optimus 7

Interestingly enough the site I've provided the links to rate these two phones exactly the same!

All my mates have Android phones and rave on about it a fair bit and from what I've seen it does look pretty cool. But I have a fair bit of interest in Windows Phones 7 and was wondering if anyone has anything to say about it?

Any help is much appreciated!

I use a Samsung WP7, and one of the things I like about them is how the interface is intuitive and it is excellent for web browsing. I'm posting from my phone now.

That said, I'm sure that the androids are also quite good, so it's a matter of personal preference

I have a Galaxy S, and it's freakin awesome. Screen quality is outrageous, and the Swype text system is the best thing I've seen in a long time.

Did you have any questions about it?

I sell cell phones as part of my job. Windows has a lot of potential, but is still in it's infancy so comes with blooming related issues, like a lack of apps. I do see it becoming much more of a contender in a year or two. Say by the time you're ready for your next upgrade. But as of right now, Android is the best. Also the big deal about Windows grouping like items together is a lot like just putting the same items in folders on other phones. Sure it's kewler looking and snazier, but not really all that big of a deal. Again, maybe in time.

Edit: also, though both LG and Samsung make nice phones, I get more positive feedback from Samsung. I sell both brands about the same, but that's only because the LGs we sell are cheaper than the Samsungs.

I remember back in the days when i sold mobile phones, the thing people worried about was reception and battery hours..

Back in the days when people used their phone to well... call with..

My phone still has snake and tetris, though im only prone to use those when im taking a shit..

on average i destroy a phone every other month, so good thing i get them for free..

EDIT: Forgot to answer thread... Go with Android, the name sounds cooler! And everything assosiated with Windows is usually crap..
