So, I was thinking about winter seeing as we'd had our first snowfall over here. I realize winter doesn't start until the 21st of December but whatever, it's close enough.

My question is basically do you feel better or worse during the Winter?

The reason I'm wondering is because I often feel better during the winter, which goes against the logic of Seasonal Affective Disorder and Vitamin D deficiency, so is there anyone else that feels good in the winter? Or is everyone depressed?

EDIT: Poll's broken...

i don't feel any different but i HATE being cold. having 2 dogs to walk daily even when it's freezing outside is annoying but it's nice to get back to a warm house and a cup of tea

I feel better. It's the holiday season, Christmas is right around the corner, all the major school projects are finally getting finished so I get a nice two week break. Then my Aunt and Uncle come down for Xmas, which always makes things better.

I love winter more than any other season. The snow, the fact that I prefer to be too cold rather than too hot and of course christmas.

I like cold, I like dark, I like snow. So yeah, I love winter. Too bad we get so little of it around here.

It's about the time I realise I have to start studying more when more games come out so worse.

I feel better during the winter. I like the cold and the dark, it makes staying inside so much cozier.

I love it.

It kills all the bugs that for some reason love to swarm my house.

So yeah, winter is my sweet relief from bug-killing.

No bugs. Less humidity. No heat but not that cold either (+4~-2 degrees), LOTS AND LOTS OF SNOW (seriously, the city two hours away from here has the largest amount of snowfall of any inhabited area in the world).

I like winter, yes.

I loathe heat and humidity (not necessarily the sun), so late fall and winter are my favorite times of the year.

I would say I'm healthier in the summer, cold-sores tend to pop up in the winter...unpleasant.

I do like the cold weather though, even if it does generate a weird abundance of static-electric charge in my clothes and hair.

Usually, I don't mind winter. There's certainly nothing about it that affects my mood any more or less than summer.

This winter though, I'm fucked right off with it, but that's primarily to do with my broken boiler and general hatred for my lettings agency.

Snow! Snow is fucking amazing! I can go skiing!

So yeah, I tend to be happier over winter. Yay for childlike glee at the sight of snow!

Wouldn't winter start on the 1st of december? Why the 21st, I don't see the significance.

I'm Australian, so it's summer here...which I loath. I can' wait for winter and the snow season.

man i LOVE winter, and i can't get enough snow ever :D the bad part: i'm in the warm pocket of canada, a small bowl right above seatlle in vancouver, where all the warm air from the ocean comes in :( and the arctic blasts trail off right before it hits us D: but! we've already had snow this year once :p

lol, it's kinda funny, it's raining on the olympics, and we have to IMPORT snow just to keep the games running, and it snows alot and early now? XD silly weather :p

I feel better, less nagging to go outside, my dogs actually go to the bathroom rather than faffing around, and snow days.

My mood directly correlates to the temperature; the colder it is, the happier I am. I feel awake, ALIVE! in the winter, and lovingly preserved in the caring fridge of the outdoors. My sense's are always on high alert during the winter, everything smells great and looks wonderful and the atmosphere can only be achieved at this time of the year; everything is magical.
The lighting is just better in the winter, everything is a crisp lovely blue hue, it really encourages me to get work done.

I stagnate in the summer, like a bloated, disgusting pile of rotten vegetation. Can't take that humidity, it inhibits everything I do.

It depends on where I am and what I'm doing. If I'm well off and have nothing pressing I need to do, I feel downright sexy. Otherwise, I'm just rushed and ill-tempered.
