operation anchorage because it is not in the fallout post apocolyptic world and it offers no ability to explore. Just linear progression to the end. All of the other DLC packs added something to the story. Hell even mothership Zeta explained the presence of the crashed UFO which was a mystery to me when I first played F3.
I hated Mothership Zeta because the whole place looked the same. I kept getting lost and going back to the ship is pointless because the weapons sucked.
I don't understand the hate towards Operation: Anchorage. It was amazing but I had fun with it and the loot was amazing.
Point Lookout and Broken Steel are definitely my favorite though.
It was the only one I bought before deciding that all others would be crap. However, I also got Broken Steel for the bonus 10 levels, and that turned out to be awesome.
Broken Steel: Basically spending money for a level cap and new perks that were stupid or helped solve issues with the game...seriously them implementing a perk that gives you a new dog meet, but they never really fixed his issues of running away and randomly dying somewhere else. I never bothered to use him because of this, instead he just chills out in megaton. And it was a really boring story, I think I blew through it in an hour.
Though while a lot of people say OA was bad, I personally loved it cause it complimented my Ninja Sniper so well, and if you are really cheap (glitch) you can steal all the items from the OA simulation.
The pitt was actually my favourite as it kind of resembled the previous fallouts with its dark industrial setting and all the garbage and dirt around.NPC's behaviour was too similar to the previous ones, i think fallout 3 NPCs are way too nice.
Zeta was meh
Point Lookout had an interesting plot, moreover killing the new enemies was actually a bit of a challenge.
My favourite part of this DLC, and probably of all Fallout 3, was when you get high after fiddling with that magical tree seeds "(i dont remember exactly). The hallucinations touched me deeply..
Operation Anchorage was a short and boring action game rip off so i guess its the worst!
The story stared off pretty good but it stared to lose me halfway through. The design was pretty good, I have to admit, but it seemed impossible to go through manly because of all the glitches. Oh well.
I just finished Mothership Zeta, and I am going to have to say Zeta. It was long, but it was very repetitive, and I could care less about the few weapons it gave you. It even caused me to do lose karma, which I have never done before on that save off, thanks to those workers getting in the way.
I am just glad I got it for free.
