How often do you find yourself not posting on a thread because you find it worthless?

I know all ideas can be fun to respond to in theory.

A lot of times the actual unique ideas posted are found deep within a lame thread, but many find it difficult to respond in an enlightening way just based on the initial topic.

Do you post just to get your count higher, like those few '20k post, I can do no wrong' types?

Or is just about being an active member of some cyber community gaming site?

No wrong answers here, just a question of quality vs quantity I guess.

I love posting on those, it strokes my e-peen.

Anyway, I do post on them at times. Sometimes a good laugh can come out of them. It just depends on A)Who has posted before (If it's either Neonbob or Sleekgiant, derails are bound to follow) and B) How much fun I can get out of it.
That's why I come here, to have fun and have a good time when I have bugger all to do in the middle of the countryside.

I don't care about how "deep" a thread is, as long as it's interesting (or just a good laugh) and I've got something good to bring to the table I join in.

Mind you there have been lots of times where I'll be mid-post and I just think "Nah' and then cancel the post and head out.

This thread is worthless...

I kid. I kid.

If I can contribute to the thread or if I can make a joke about the thread, I'll post something.
