I am very, very, weary about making this thread at all. You may notice I didn't specify the game in question in the title. Because I really, REALLY, do not want this thread to re-tread the 3 year old arguments of the past. If it does devolve into that, I would ask the mods please lock it.
OK, recently in this thread (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.265110-Diablo-III-Looked-Heavenly-in-2005?page=8#10158513), people posted side by side pictures of Diablo 3 as it is now, and how it could look more like Diablo 1&2. These generally involved, shadows, grainy filter, and more muted colors. Which made me think, would it really be all that hard for Blizzard to add those filters in the options menu?
So on the the question at hand. If there was the option to turn on such filters, would that make it's graphics OK to you? Or to put it another way would this eliminate the problem?
This question is only directed twords those of you who have a problem with D3s graphics not looking like D 1&2.
And, to stress it again. Please, PLEASE, do not bring that old argument up here. If you really want to discuss it do it somewhere else.
