Probably not. I've wondered what it would be like to be the opposite gender but given the chance, I probably wouldn't do it.

For a short while? Maybe, just to see how it's like on the other side.

I'm definitely changing back though. I have no intention of experiencing 'that time of the month'

Would I change permanently? Simple answer is no.
Would I take the opportunity to be able to switch back and forth at will (kinda like Ranma)? Hell yes, sign me up! I would like to experience life as a girl, but I think us guys have life much easier in the short and long run, and plus, I like being a guy and it would be harder for me to find a girlfriend as a girl.

No thanks. Being a male has no down sides. So why would I want to handicap myself?

I'd like to see what it'd be like just for a day or so, but I'm fine with my current gender, though I do tend to be... very different just in nature and appearance from my gender standards >>
Regardless, I'm fine with my current sex, so anything permanent no thanks.

I think you mean change your sex.
Changing your gender, if you were cisgendered before, will just end up making you gender dysphoric, which is no fun, and if you were gender dysphoric (on the transgender spectrum, normally a transsexual), it would just make you cisgendered.
Me, I'm happy with being female.
No gender change for me. Already messed up enough as I am. I think if my gender was changed... it wouldn't end well.

Would I permanently change myself into a woman? No. Would I accept the ability to switch back and forth? Yes. Would I change my gender to something totally new, beyond male and female (for instance the character Pie'Oh'Pah in Clive Barker's Imagica)? Maybe.

For a weekend? Sure. Forever? No. I believe in making the most with the cards you have been dealt. I am what I am, and I'll be damned if someone is going to change me.

So..People from the US don't get if you type "Gender", or what?

I presume you mean, a proper sex change, and not just a cosmetic gender change (like I had been born female)
I actually think about this alot, I'd definitely see what its like to be a girl for a few months, probably won't stay female though.

Aww, honey. It's not too late.
Are you in a position of possibly transitioning?
I've been seeing my psyche this whole week, hopefully going to start very soon.
It is possible, don't give up!

Congratulations, I was pointing out that there is a difference between sex and gender. Which is why, you know, there are transsexuals, and gender identity clinics, and all the stuff that go with it.
There is a difference. I was just pointing out that the correct word to use in this situation would be sex, not gender.
Thanks for your input anyway. Didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, but maybe it will enlighten someone else.

Lol wat?

Fun fact: much, much, much modern research shows that, more and more, gender is largely a social construct, and very little of what we consider gendered is rooted in biology.
I wouldn't know, I thought Gender and Sex was pretty much synonym. I'm not from an English-speaking country. We have one word for "sex" and another for "the role that your sex reflects in society and how it is precieved".
