I'm pansexual, or something passably close to it, and...I gotta say, going monosexual would be like limiting myself to only one kind of food for the rest of my life. So, hell no.

It's not like it's not physically impossible to have sex with someone just because you are this or that, or that because you are x or y, you can't help but want to bone this person or that person, you can control your urges.

As per my sexuality, I would say that I don't have one.

I don't become aroused from anything, I just will myself to be aroused by something, and I do.

Because I'm fine with being a guy, but I think it would be very educational for any person to put themselves in the opposite sexes shoes for a day even.

In all seriousness, it's really up to you. I'm just curious to see if people would consider it, and it seems the vast majority would not, which is a good thing! You're all comfortable with yourselves.

I actually would do it if it was reversible. Though I am 100% straight (never been attracted to men), I think from a pure standpoint of curiosity, I would love to be a woman for a day or two. I think I could learn a lot, and it would help me with a lot of my misunderstandings about how to approach women.

But I am completely comfortable with my gender and sexual orientation.

I recently had a lucid dream in which I was female. It taught me what "cute" feels like, amongst other things.

the ideal human race is asexual; its just more efficient, and effective. i would definitely love to be asexual, as it removes a great deal of the subjective stupidity weve developed about reproduction; would do wonders to unite the human race and get rid of half the reason we are stupid cavemen. that, however, is much less a matter of personal preference and much more a matter of radical genetic adaptations, so it really doesnt count....

if only out of desperation, i might go bi...but i doubt i would have any more luck with the same sex than i do with the opposite....going back to the asexual option, can i reproduce through osmosis and produce a perfect genetic copy of me every time?

This is a dumb question. Sexuality is NOT genetic, and it's completely a person's choice. In fact, bats have the highest homosexuality rate of any animal because they can't see, not because they are genetically attracted to male bats.

A person can say that they are gay, and that makes them gay. One can say that they are straight, then they are straight. The only real question that should be here is "If you could be a hermaphrodite or asexual, which one would you be?"

Sexuality is already a choice, there is NO REASON to make it seem impossible to say "I'm gay" or "i'm straight".

I'm not trying to sound like a dick, sorry if it comes off that way but this topic is like saying "would you rather inhale or exhale?"
