I don't really know. I'm pretty comfortable with my sexuality (I'm bi), but there are some things that kind of piss me off about it sometimes. Basically, I prefer being with a woman, when it comes to sex, but I prefer men when it comes to relationships themselves. So no matter who I'm with, I'm never completely happy with it. So if I had the chance to change my sexuality, I'd be gay. Then I wouldn't enjoy straight sex so much, and my problem would be solved.

I think people can prefer femininity over masculinity or visa-versa, and our attraction to a person is based off the individual themselves. I'd like to think that there are certain traits that are almost exclusive to one gender.

Having met plenty of asexuals and being asexual myself, I ensure you that the whole "People would be so more efficient and dutiful without sex getting in the way!" is a myth. Asexuals are just about as equal parts stupid and smart as rest of the population. Just about as lazy, too.

I'd say there is no hetro or bisexual, sexuality is more of a spectrum. Plus, who I find attractive and who I would have sex with does not fall into the same category, but I don't know if that's common or not. I don't believe it when people say they are straight or gay, I just think society kind of wants to push people into one or the other, I think preferences more than whole sexualities.

I personally detach the word "love" from "sexual attraction/desire" I can love someone I have no physical attraction to. I mean, I love my family members, I'm not attracted to them.

There is a difference, though going into such complication would warrant something of an essay. More so, I personally don't think emotional love bears gender... however I'd say sexual attraction recognises traits which are more common to exclusive in one gender.

I guess you've got to have both for a relationship, in short.
