It's cheating if you are using more than one person, or robot to look for them, because the fun is you being alone and finding hidden things. The game loses playability if the odds are stacked in your favor.
Taking over the world doesn't guarantee a date with me though. Though to be honest it wouldn't hurt.Viral_Lola said:Wouldn't you want to use the robots to take over the world instead?
I'm not sure riding C'Thulu would give any sort of real advantage though. Sure you would have more eyes for looking with, but you would also be much further from the hidey holes to peer into them. I would think just having a tracking dog would be much better. But then would you consider using the canine to do the tracking for you as cheating?Whateveralot said:Would riding the back of c'thulu be cheating? No, because getting c'thulu to ride you around is halfway towards victory.

I've noticed laziness mentioned more than once. Couldn't it be argued the seeker spent a lot of time learning the skills to create such robots? That definitely would not be lazy of them. So does laziness in game dictate laziness of character? Or should their past achievements give them special bonuses over the other players during the game?-Ezio- said:cheating yes. also incredibly lazy

well you never said you created them. judging by your willingness to cheat i would guess you stole them. 8PNew Troll said:I've noticed laziness mentioned more than once. Flattery also won't guarantee that date, though again, doesn't hurt either.Viral_Lola said:You, sir, are very cheeky.
That wasn't flattery. That was a statement.New Troll said:Flattery also won't guarantee that date, though again, doesn't hurt either.Viral_Lola said:You, sir, are very cheeky.
Of course it gives you an advantage. It does so because it's awesome. And so isn't a canine. It'd only give the players a new level of awesome. Imagine hide and seek with a dog against Bear Grylls. He'd know what to do.New Troll said:I'm not sure riding C'Thulu would give any sort of real advantage though. Fairly certain it's more of a morality, fairness, issue. Rules may not specificly dictate an answer, but in the minds of the majority of the players it's unfair. Hence being referred to as cheating.Dr. Danger said:No. Not cheating.
I'm a little surprised to see that this answer is the minority.
