There are two ways to look at it
1.Stewrdship= Not killig your own species,somone who like you,has dreams hates thoughts and loves

2.Will to survive= NEVER underestimate this! You are under threat and must remove the threat if you are strong enough and if not to run

It depends person to person which instinct is stonger

Yeah, why not? I have an axe INSIDE the house for some reason. I can't remember why it's been put there.

i could make a list of dangerous things inside my house, but i don't intend on using 'em. You've seen most of 'em anyways in my room xD - That's if you class blunt-force weapons as dangerous.

First of all, you're assuming that I suddenly have the power to kill a grown man? Wow, that's cool!

I'd like to say that I wouldn't kill him, but if he were in my house, trying to kill me, I don't think I could do that. If he decides that he's going to break into my house and kill me, just because I pissed him off a bit, he's not going to get through it. I'd try to knock him out first, but I'd be prepared to kill. I'm very protective of my home and my family. Now I don't feel like a very good person...

Don't feel bad. Feel human. As far as I'm concerned, that hypothetical individual forfeits his right to live the instant he comes to my home with a desire to harm me or mine. I think it's kind of sad to live in a society where this is even considered a valid question.

If he had a gun and was certainly after blood, I would kill him. Especially if I have family with me as well.

But, kind of like the OP mentioned, I don't think this would ever happen to me. I'm pretty mild-mannered... I don't think I could piss anyone off to the point of murder.

You have the right to defend your home, period. It doesn't matter who it is or why they are there, if someone breaks in to your home, you do everything you can to deter the threat, even if it means using deadly force. The guy had better hope his ability to kill me is faster than my ability to load my dad's .45.
