Poll: Would you kill the Joker?

So the Jokers running around, through the revolving door of Arkham Asylum and Batman still won't kill him.

Anyone who has actually tried is persuaded or stopped by Batman in the shows.

If you were a Superhero or a Sniper in Gotham Police and you had the chance to finally end the Joker, would you do it and why?

Alt: What if any other heroes or 'good' guys tried to stop you, would you answer change?

Yes. Yes I would. Think about how many people the Joker has killed. Think about how many more he will kill if I let him go. Fuck Batman's policy on murder, the clown's got to go! I'll suffer the consequences later (likely a trip to prison or Arkham).

EDIT: Despite the severity of this post, I'm a fan of the Joker. But I would still take the shot.

Yes... I would kill the Joker... He's insane... if he's caught, he will always break free... and by killing him, I'd be saving millions of people...

I'd wait until he was holding some form of weapon and then kill him. I want to at least be able to claim it was justified to hopefully avoid prison time.

Especially considering the potential for the Joker's henchmen to be in prison with me.

Yes, despite being a MASSIVE fan of the Joker, I'd still take the shot. The decision is much like the one I'd have to take if I become a police sharpshooter like I plan too, take one life to save another, but in this case its, take one to save a lot.

For one, I'm not a killer, and I would never want someone else's blood on my hands, even if it was the Joker's.

The joker is either a sane criminal mastermind or an insane lunatic. If a person was killing people against his will and he had to kill himself to stop, would he not end his own life? Logic dictates that he should be executed.
