Only if I would repair some broken part of me, but I'd throw a little extra in there.
The idea of willingly taking off a piece of me I was born with and has done nothing but help me throughout my life makes me a little... sentimental for my parts.
That said, if I lost a limb through some accident or something I couldn't control, I wouldn't be above replacing it with something more than what I had before. The idea is that since I wouldn't have the same sentimentality for a new arm so I might as well go all out with it.

Yes. Yes I so would.

I wouldn't be the first test subject by any means, but once it's proven to be reliable, then hell yeah. Effective immortality here I come.

I've already got glasses, don't I? I wouldn't mind a few adjustments and buffs, really. I wouldn't be too keen on actually buying them, though.
Glasses don't count; I'm only counting active augmentation of body parts, so things that you wear, like exo-skeletons and glasses, doesn't count.
I've got a couple of titanium rods welded to my spine, does that count? They were put in to prevent my spine from curving again, but its now stronger than the spine of any puny human out there.

I wouldn't cut off any limbs or anything like that, but enhancements to my eyes and various other parts would be useful (bullet-proof supermodel body, anyone?), and having some body strength enhancements would be great. I would rather not get first-wave models though, because many of those would be clunky as fuck. Wait until the kinks are ironed out.
It would be pretty awesome to be able to carry all the weekly shopping in on one arm as though it's light as a feather.

Dammit, milk! Why do you have to weigh so much? D:

Absolutely yes, I hate myself with a passion, I really wish I had the ability to step into a different body. That being said, yes I would take multiple augmentations.

I have always hated the very idea of current "body modification" ie: piercings and tattoo's. I see it as a self selecting identifier for stupidity as well as a proclamation that the recipient has no class/taste. They simply serve no other purpose. Not even in any aesthetic sense unless one simply intends to look ugly(or in the case of tattoo's, age badly). On top of that, you're basically creating more vulnerable points in ones already frail body which i've always made it a point to exploit in the instances where its been convenient to do so.

That being said, i would jump at the chance to go full conversion. I would either go the "human looking" route based on my appearance when i was 19 just to be subtle but still aesthetically improved(minutely). Or i would go the full get rid of any semblance of human, full mech route. As long as everything is replaced either way and i'm really just a brain and spine in a vat, taking in all the sensory data from my walking/flying/hovering/driving tank of a body. I wouldn't even care if i was in a humanoid body. Give me extra limbs. Hell give me wings. I'll go full mecha dragon/demon/gargoyle/spider/mantis with jets, lasers, and diamond tipped chainsaws, flamethrowers, and missiles. BWAHAHA!!! To hell with my humanity. Humans don't possess much of it anyway. It only serves to remind me of how not like them i am. At least being inhuman will create a greater distinction between them and me.

Assuming that we've reached Singularity and it is of my own free will, then yes.

I would only get the very minimum augmentation that is available (nothing that artificially increases my abilities or capabilities). Probably a cybernetic implant that allows me to connect to the internet, receive/send messages/calls, look up information, get directions, etc.

Blah blah tl;dr I WILL BE BORG.
Yeah, I'm not going to wait for this stuff to be proven safe. Hell, make me a guinea pig, if it means I can get more augs for cheap. I want, like, a Gopro implanted in my eye that's linked directly to a big hard drive so I can record every second of what I see. I want lungs that aren't terrible so I can finally keep up with my compatriots in my unit. I want muscles that can Falcon Punch people into chunky salsa. I want increased bone density so I can jump out of a plane and land safely by punching the ground.

Considering the fact that I am currently augmenting my body through hormones, and eventually surgery. I have absolutely no problem doing so using cybernetics. My body, my choice and all that.

Would you augment yourself mechanically?
No, but just mechanically. I'd totally go for something like Khan in Star Trek, or the splicers in Batman Beyond. Overall, I just rather enjoy being made of meat. It seems pointless to have even immortality if involve becoming 'fake' to the point you can't enjoy it, and while I doubt a simple bionic arm would do that, it would have a similar effect, just on a smaller scale. As strong and awesome as it would be, I would always be aware I am missing an arm.

I have already had lasik, and a few other surgeries simply for what I think is better quality of life.
So I would definitely not mind replacing apart of me with a cyborg.
