If it was sentient and didn't look like a tin can welded to some little metal arms then sure, I'd give it a whirl. But sentience would definitely be the biggest factor.

If it is sentient, attractive, and we have personalities that mesh, then yes. While I do enjoy a good body, dating is more about the emotions for me.

Let's say that very soon in the future, robots become sentient. The robots now say that they have emotions, such as fear, anger, and happiness Now you meet a andriod who has decided that it is in love with you. It looks like an attractive andriod to you. But would you consider falling in love with a machine? Or is it against your morals? Or what?

I don't see any reason why not. Seeing as how hot androids are prevalent in anime, I might be conditioned to say yes.

If it's sentient, it is human in my opinion. No other animal is self-aware the way we are, and you don't see me going around dating walruses, now do you?
If it wasn't fully sentient, or could be manipulated through coding easily, I would not, however. Having a girlfriend that I could completely change with the press of a button would not be cool.
