Do I love her? Then yes. Sure it'd be weird while dating and I would have to be sure she doesn't have any diseases (I'm sorry, I mean infections), but if we are compatible/have chemistry/insert cliche here/love each other after that, then yes.
Yeah pretty much this, but also if she quitted porn. The idea of me sharing my wife with a bunch of guys is just wrong. Even if its "business".

No god knows what they could have and I wouldn't feel comfortable being cheated (in a sense) at work every day

EDIT: actually if I could get them to change career, yeah

couldn't have said it better myself :]
Pretty much my answer.
Yeah, me too. As long as she is healthy and we love each other i see no problem. Even if she is still in the industry. But i have never had the chance, so this is all hypothetical.

Eh, I don't see myself as compatible with a person who would have sex for money. I have nothing against them but I also have nothing against people who are into shit porn. It just isn't me. Sex has a certain level of meaning to me, something I would never sell. While this is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, it is a big deal to me. Me being the person who would be married to this other person.

So no, I wouldn't as being in porn would make them incompatible. I like sex and I like porn. I just wouldn't marry them. I also wouldn't marry a lot of things I like so it all evens out.
You wouldn't marry cake? I would if I ever got to be with it...stupid GLADOS (I know, Portal jokes are old.)

If you're emotionally capable of distancing the act of sex from love, and can remain focused on the concept that she's merely acting, it wouldn't be a problem. If you were incapable of ignoring or restricting the amount of jealousy you feel at the mock 'intimacy', it'd never work. Mind you, I've been in open relationships before, so I have no qualms about separating sex from intimacy, or associating the act of sex with lust, rather than love. I believe that I know when the act is intended to be intimate and meaningful, but that may be an issue in other relationships.

Something else I want to clarify is what kind of porn would she doing? I've dated a couple women that have done 'amateur work' (they were paid, but it was low-budget stuff), and they both did solo scenes, with and without toys, and there was no anal-play involved. If the woman in question was doing solo scenes, or g/g scenes, I'd be fine.

I guess it's a matter of perspective and comfort in the underlying emotions that dictate your relationship.

Nope, eating one's love doesn't lend itself to a long term commitment... ;)

Provided we're in love (compatible in ways that suit each other perfectly) and if she didn't have any infections; I wouldn't be stopped by the fact she had been involved with porn. I would stop and talk to her earnestly if she wanted to continue while married to me.

No--I'm honestly too jealous to take that kind of thing, and I'd get an inferiority complex, always afraid that I couldn't quite compare to his costars. It's selfish, I know, and it's terrible, but it's the honest truth, sadly.

No. I don't think I'd even get involved with a pornstar, but frankly no. Why? Well mainly because I wouldn't truly feel as though I really meant anything to her and that's putting aside that fact that I'm morally against sex as a profession.

If she was no longer in the business and I loved her sure. We all have history.

I'd be a bit unsure in the back of my mind if I was "man enough" for her; but we'd have done it many, many times before we got to the altar so I'm assuming it wouldn't be a problem.

I remember reading an interview with Jesse Jane I think it was and she said her husband was lucky to get it once a month because she just couldn't be bothered bringing her work home.

Probably not.

1. They make what, $40,000 a year?

2. With the amount of sex they have, they would be unfaithful as hell.

3. Usually they have 'fake' parts and possibly diseases... I like the original and not worrying about waking up with blood in my mouth

Not a good investment, when you can have a woman you love with the same body and a more faithful (and profitable) job.

Haha, I could make a dirty joke with that with a little rewording but I won't. Just think about it and you'll get the joke. If not, well, you're too young to know.

Ok, I skimmed the first page here, I'm not reading all 8, so I don't know if this has been stated or not, but personally, yes I would, under certain circumstances.

First, there are many types of "Porn Stars".
Given that, I would not marry any old PS, as yes jealousy would be an issue towards her male partners, which is where my conditions come in.

I would not ask her to change her specific realm of profession, so she would basically have to be doing either only Lesbian porn, or solo/striptease. (Note: just cuz she's in a lezzie flick doesn't mean she is one, same goes with guys, many of them have to start in Gay porn before they get to Straight porn, I guess it's like getting a promotion?)

So, yes...if she wasn't filming with other dudes. But I wouldn't force it, that would have to be her choice.

No I wouldn't marry a pornstar. The thought of her work life would always bother me. Plus, she'd get too loose too fast if ya know what I mean.

Sure. I would even support her in her roles if she did the porn I watch. I would only have a problem if she said something like "O yeah, I fucked this guy today and he was so much better than you" (that is the way she would say it too or else I wouldn't be married to her). Or even more subtle "I am going to fuck this guy later today. I have been wanting to do him for years". The awkwardness of this would go up depending on how long into our relationship has been going on before she has been wanting him. Although I will admit a deal breaker would be breast implants. Cosmetics and cosmetic surgeries have just always really bothered me.

1. I think you are vastly underestimating the porn industry here. That is the average male porn star income. The female one is significantly higher (around 100k-250k)

2. I will admit I don't really know what you mean by that one. I probably should be offended though. It really isn't unfaithful to say up front "it is my job let people do things to me" since this job was there before you were. They aren't really going to hide that fact.

3. I honestly can't refute the diseases part. Herpes is basically "earning your wings" in that industry from what I have read.

I would be too scared of getting a disease - I know that they have checks and all but it would always be at the back of my mind. If it could be guaranteed then I wouldn't have an issue.
