Too tall.

People seem to like taller people.

Though, I myself am 6'1, so I'm closer to being too tall.

As someone who is borderline too tall as it is, I have to say that I would rather be too tall, but it seriously has major disadvantages.

First off, the world is designed for people between 5`4 - 5`8 So buying an economical car is basically a mission of what aggravation can you tolerate the most. Washing dishes is another gigantic pain when you have to spend an hour bent over. Sure its nice to be able to grab things from the top of the fridge, or get things from the top rack of a store without help, but busting your head constantly on doorways and in stair wells is not fun.

Being tall also typically means your mobility will decrease at a much faster age, as alot of times you develop problems with your back, knees, and ankles.

Also, from a psychological standpoint, growing up abundantly tall is a whole lot worse than growing up short. Kids like to rip on other kids for anything they can yes its true, but at the same time, there are always going to be douchey little kids, who want to pretend like they are better than everyone else. Knowing that it wouldnt be wise to physically threaten a kid bigger than themselves, alot of these people go into systematic psychological breakdown tactics that can ruin a tall person.

Id still rather be tall than short, because at least I know, in the back of my head... if anyone pisses me off, I would still be able to crush them :D

You should really include different measurements for men and women. 5'3" isn't at all considered short for a woman. Even if you take into consideration that it's for men only, the differences aren't equal in terms of raw height or percentile of the U.S. population.

I'd want to be small again. I liked being able to hide in big cardboard boxes.
I was a weird kid, it's probably for the best I'm quite tall now...

I'm already over too tall, sigh. 6'7-6'8 but I'd rather be this height than too short. Ok you scare people but that helps with the arseholes that live in the world. They have to be reeeeallly drunk to want to fuck with you, whereas a short person they'd just do it for a laugh.

I'm about 6' 2" and supposed to be between 6' 4" and 6'6" so I think I don't really have the option of being the short guy.

Would I prefer to be 2 inches shorter or a foot and an inch taller? Hm...
Being small has been useful for me. So no magic growthspurts for me thanks.

Wolverine is (officially) 5'3", which is exactly why being that height would be cool. And I like being short anyways, so "too short".

One thing I like about being too short, you can punch tall people and get away with it. I am 5'3" and a lot of people don't look down when they walk and I have to let them know I'm here somehow. I got tired of people tripping over me. I do find it funny when I elbow them in the stomach and they still don't see me. Maybe I'm just invisible?

I don't like people in my personal space bubble, I have a good 6 inches around me where people are not allowed to invade.

I can't believe there is even a question here:

Of course I'd rather be taller! When you go through high school dealing with the bullshit

5"3'

height card that I've been given, that's when you'll realize it always helps to be tall. Plus, girls don't like short guys.

I'm 5'4 so I'm an inch taller than 'too short' so I guess I wouldn't mind being 'too short.' I think it's different when you're not male, though. You're not expected to be very tall. And 5'3 is a fairly normal height for a girl anyway.

Your poll greatly offends me. As one of the vertically challenged members of society, your height oppression grows tiresome.

I think your poll needs to be changed. 6'6 isn't that tall in the sence that its going to make life awkward.

Try being 8 ft 11.1 (2.72 m) in height and weighting 485 lb (220 kg) at the time of your death at the age of 22.
I'm 6'1, and my head has hit its fair share of ceilings.
I'm 6'2, and standing up has caused me to go dizzy one too many times. Still, tall is good. Anyway, over here 5'3 isn't very short.

I'll say too tall simply because its more convenient being tall, but it also hurts more. I don't even want to think of all the times I've hit my head going down a flight of stairs or forgetting about a low spot in a ceiling.

On the plus side, at least short people don't have to worry about fitting in cars or feet hanging off the bed.

Fuck too tall, really. I'm 6'5" and I hate it. Sure I've been told that being tall is attractive, but this is too much of it if you ask me.

Worst is the back aches that come with it. I don't care much about only just getting through doors and just fitting in most beds, but the goddamn back pains of constantly having to bend down for everything.

I can't cook comfortably, ironing and doing the laundry hurts like hell, you name it. It's not as cool as it seems, being tall.

Those who are saying they want to be too tall are forgetting something. The taller you are, the harder your heart has to pump to get blood to your extremities. The taller you are, the more weight your body has to support. Along with this comes a greater chance of joint problems, especially in the knees and back, as some have mentioned.

As for me, I'm fine with my height. It's 5'7", if you're wondering.
