That mind reading would make you crazy in about a week. Telekinesis would be my choice.

Telekineses. Just place me on an island with a suitable house with electricity and working water, food arrangement (sure I would hunt but I still want food like pizza, fried rice etc), landline and postal address and all will be good. Otherwise I would head on over there to complain with my arrangement (I would have a boat)! Don't care if I killed people in the process if I ended up being annoyed!

In this instance, telekinesis because I see absolutely no good qualities in choosing the telepathy process. I'll just keep my distance from loved ones and hey, going bat shit crazy can be liberating sometimes.

Mind reading all the time will most likely just result with me moving to some remote island far away from humanity, because I wouldn't be able to handle all the noise.

Telekinesis will probably result in the same "remote-island" scenario...but at least I'll be able to entertain myself. Or, it will result with me becoming a super villain since the good will only suffer around me.
