I already know the meaning. You must all work hard to make me happy.

I didn't vote either way, simply because I don't believe that there is a simple all encompassing answer for the meaning of life. A life has several meanings, we as free willed rational thinkers give it meaning, whether our meaning is to pass things on to the next generation, to innovate, or to waste our lives. By saying a meaning, I wonder if you're trying to get at a purpose for existence, if that's the case, we have the same purpose as the grass, the trees, and the other beings that inhabit this rock... we are here to simply live and enjoy what sort of gift we're given. People as the higher order of rational thought want a large complex purpose, even if the simple answer dangles right in front of us. We exist to exist. Occam's Razor, The simplest explanation is the best one.

Do not try to overcomplicate what was never meant to be a complicated idea to begin with, you'll be happier that way.

But like I said in a post before knowledge is tentative, so maybe there is a greater truth out there, maybe the purpose is to discover it.

I dont know if it would answer your question, but one fullfill life making the difference every time you can and living to the limits should be the way of life

I don't waste, sorry spend, time searching for the meaning of life because there is none in my opinion. I think too many blockbusters have made people feel special when we're just a tiny insignificant speck in nothingness and it just IS that way. It can be changed or efforts put into preserving it, I don't really care either way since I've long since withdrawn from that battlefield.

There is no meaning of life. Life is meaningless, make the most of it, enjoy yourself, eat your greens, find a nice girl/guy, try not to kill a lot of other people, etc.
That is of course, until society is overthrown and we are all forced to worship Glong, I for one, will be welcoming our new arachnid overlords.
Then our lives will be for Mightly Glong, the many-limbed Arachnid King, may death come swiftly to his enemies.

Death to Glong
HOW DARE YOU! MAY GLONG CRUSH YOU 'NEATH ONE OF HIS MANY LEGS!
If these words he speaks are true, we're all humanary stew! Unless we pledge allegiance to The Black Widow.

I wouldn't want to know...
Namely because if the meaning of life were trivial, then I'd've wasted my life on something that probably wasn't even worth knowing (or was probably easy to discover).
Life's a mystery. It's what makes it great.
Let's keep it that way.

Do not seek answers; seek to understand the questions, young grasshopper. The meaning of one's life is only possible to seek through contemplation, and I have a meaning with mine. I need not more.

Well I figure that if you found out what the meaning of life really was, your head would explode, so I'm cool with just living life as it is.

The meaning of life: Be nice to people, avoid eating fat, try to get a little walking in, and live in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations...
EDIT: Now you all know so just try and live with it.

I'd want to know, if only so I could piss people off by randomly shouting it.

Yes, I shout the endings to Harry Potter.

There is no meaning to life and if there was it would be different for everyone. That and if you knew what it was it would then make anything you did absolutely insignificant.
Yep, straight up.

Mystery loses appeal once it's revealed. If I find the answer to life, will I lose my will to live?

I'm not really sure what to answer.

I don't care what purpose I have. I will make my own, which is why I disagree so strongly with religions claiming that God provides a higher purpose. To have no purpose is liberating in my view
