It depends. If I was omnipotent and omniscient, I could probably handle it. If I was simply myself with godlike powers and responsibilities (a la Sim City, on a six-billion-person scale), I might lose it

Are you talking within the bounds of reality? I mean, apart from the existence of said button, would everything else have to be reasonable?

If so, then I probably wouldn't. There's no fun in being a tyrant, and if I was benevolent I'd probably have way too much to do. Delegating isn't an option, seeing that I feel guilty passing things off for others to do.

If I could be completely unrealistic, yes. World peace and hippy ideals would spread over night. Omnipotence is best-used as a tool for good, after all.
