Well we wouldnt take any from the order plates, we would take some from the kitchen. Not to mention the kitchen staff is always almost eating throughout their entire shift.

Just a joke I didn't think you would eat food from the plate.

Allways eating you say, where I work they don't have the time.

Didn't do it when i spend 3 days in hell (McDonalds) cause they didn't allow it, and it's hardly my favourite restaurant

Back when I worked in a Texaco gas station, I ran the deli when they needed a hand. We weren't aloud to reach into the case and take the food, but if we were taking an order and something dropped onto the little table attached to the case or on the floor, we munched down on it as soon as the last deli customer left.

So, in a way, the only way the boss would let us eat anything was if A: It fell on the floor, or B: We payed for the food ourselves.

On the plus side, we got free drinks.
