Being a vampire would just be too much work, unless I could convince the blood bank to send some my way pretty often.
I'm already a recluse and am gradually working towards a nocturnal lifestyle, so that wouldn't be a huge loss. If I needed something, I could just get some friends to pick it up for me.
The only issue for me is immortality, unless you could decide when you wanted to die in as painless a manner as possible.

To be honest, I think I'd quite like to sparkle.

It gets you hordes of pussy.
No kidding! You can rag on that sparkley bit all you want, but do you see how many chicks that guy gets??? Damn...

OT: No, I'd probably refuse. The whole immortality bit doesn't appeal to me.

Yes, I would. I mean, I already stay indoors more often than I go outside during the day, and I prefer to stroll around at night as well, so I'm already half way there when it comes to vampirism.

Granted, I probably would miss the taste of garlic since I do love garlicy food, but that's one small price to pay for immortality.

Yes as long as I could build my secret lair. The oblivion add on would be good insperation to start with. I would want to turn a few people however I know they wouldn't want to turn.

Hey guys I am a Vampire I sparkle! *walks into sunlight* OK THAT HURTS *dies*

Who wouldn't want immortality? I wouldn't hesitate. I mean. Blade? Come on could he be any cooler? Plus with that much free time I can get round to actually finishing Final Fantasy.

Um... due to the knowledge of people with fierce sun allergies, there is tons of clothing that can hold teh sun at bay.

Saying that, nah, I think i'll pass, as long as the vampire isn't going to feed on me if I refuse. If they're going to kill me if I dont' turn then obviously I'd accept my fate even though it'd be pretty terrible.

By the way, how does the whole feeding thing work? Would the blood have to be fresh? Would I be able to get by by robbing blood banks, or would I have to actually kill people?

Yes. Going vamp is easily worth it for the eternal life and the super strength is an added bonus.
btw, can they run really fast (Darren Shan style) because that would be awesome.

Not with these rules, no. Too easy to find and kill.
In this day and age, no one would go "Vampire!!! *stabbystabby*". They'd get charged with murder. Claiming someone is a Vampire is far from reason enough to kill them.

Depends, though, whether people you feed on are turned/killed by the process. If neither, you've got nothing to worry about. You might get the occasional alleged assault charge, but if you are careful there just won't be the evidence to support the charge.

I would.I've always wanted to be a vampire.

Although I have a question. Here in Iceland, there is no sunlight in the wintertime. But it is bright outside. So,would that have any effect on me?

Yes, you turn into a bat, but only for an hour a day (or night, whatever).
Do I turn into one huge bat or lot's of small ones and do I reappear with clothes?
Also, is it Discworld style where a vamp can get staked/exposed to sun and as long as a little blood drops down on enough ash, you re-materialize?

I don't know. I guess I would. I would miss food and beverage but immortality and super strength sounds nice.

I want you to imagine that this night, a vampire comes to you and offers to turn you. What would you do in a situation like that?
To make it simple, here's the rules:
Edit: I've noticed I was a bit too vague about the rules, so I added a bit. Feel free to edit your reply or post a new one if this makes you change your mind.

Sunlight hurts like heck. Doesn't make you sparkle, just makes you dead, as in instantly sets you on fire like you're covered with gasoline and I dropped a match on you. You can cover yourself with clothes, but it has to be sunproof and clothes that sunproof don't exist as far as I know. (Edit; I'm told they do exist.)
A stake in the heart'll kill you.
Can't die of old age.
Cross all the running water you like.
Yes, you turn into a bat, but only for an hour a day (or night, whatever).
Yes, you are allergic to garlic.
You need to sleep as usual.
You're super-strong.
You have to eat every third day to survive, but waiting that long'll make you really hungry. Sucking blood once a night makes you quite full. Two people are a lot, and three a vomit-inducing feast.
It has to be human blood that's sucked from a human being or through a straw in a bag of blood. It has to be as fresh as the blood they put in people that have been in accidents. You know, you can't let it coagulate. But you can put it in the freezer and take it out again later. Just keep it reasonably fresh.
No hypno-powers apart from stopping people from running away when you try to zuck their bludd.
No staurophobia. (Fear of crosses or the crucifix.)
Doesn't change your looks apart from the fangs.
Please, ignore all religious implications of turning vamp. In other words, assume that god isn't real. (No offense to religious people.

And here's the thing: You have to be honest. No saying "Sure, cuz vampires are cool!" or "No, vampires SUCK!" You have to seriously tell me what you would do in a situation like that.
I was going to say yes, but I would have rather prefered the rules from Hellsing or Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. So I'm not sure, I love the night though.

Hell no! Even if you didn't actually do any of that stuff, you'd still have retards making all the "do you sparkle, huurr hurrrrr" jokes (and the people who take that shit seriously, who are probably even worse! D= ). Eternal damnation and the endless life of a fugitive I can handle, idiots however, I can not.

Besides, immortality isn't actually that great, I mean, sure, only the destruction of the heart will kill you, but, to quote Eddie Izzard: "Also, I think a few other things would probably work with vampires, I mean, a chainsaw, that'd probably work. If you took a vampire and removed his arms and legs with a chainsaw, that's going to slow him down a bit, surely?"

Would u be resistant to diseases? Because if not then it will sorta suck, as u will probably catch some sort of disease, like HIV/AIDS, and die anyway.
Other than that then definitely, sounds awesome
