Poll: Would you turn into a vampire?

Humans have the unique gift of adaptability. While Vampires might be super strong they have a tendency to explode in UV light.

Humans also have the ability to last a long time without food and can survive on very little water if need be. Vampires however lose there super strength and speed by not feeding for a day, and can even lose there minds from it. While starvation and water deprivation can mess with you a single bottle of water can last a smart human 4-5 days. As well most humans can go weeks without food before side effects past a rumbling stomach kick in.

Not to mention vampires are unable to have sex in most cases, as that part of there body is usually non-functional. I know that sounds brutish but how many non-virgin, non-rape victims can honestly say "I am happy never having sex again"?

The thing about most legendary creatures is they have singular master traits while massive weaknesses. Humans ultimately might be frail in comparison but win that over by having the art of adaptation. I would rather be a jack of all trades then a master of one or two.

Yes. If only the kind from Scott Westerfeild's "Peeps": Can live in sunlight, but are infected by a parasite that is sexually transmitted, even WITH condoms, and even by kissing, and makes you hate things you used to like, and turns you into a cannibalistic maniac, if you're not a carrier. It would mean me being an almost eternal virgin, and having to take garlic and mandrake pills, but hell, heightened senses, super strength, and no sparkling is awesome! Also, the parasite makes you live a hellalong time. Like, 3 centuries. sweet.

I would probably live my life in a similar manner to how I already do, and would spend as much time learning as much as I could. Only changes would be no going out in the sun and the harem of blood-slaves in my basement. And if I had power over any vampires I create, then I would have them all work so we would never be financially troubled. It would be a good life, and i would definitely still do everything I found fun as a mortal.

No, because I like sunlight, and never being able to see the sunrise clearly ever again would depress me greatly. Also living forever would cause my heart to shatter, seeing all of my loved ones dies would not be fun. However the largest reason is my immense love for garlic, mmmmm... love me some garlic toast.

If anything I'd be a vampire hunter, just to feel awesome.

eat every three days or I die? so I have to eat seven times as much as a human to survive? it seems like I'd have far too many weaknesses as a vampire. I would ask the vampire to defeat me first in combat.

I'm still in school, so going out in sunlight is pretty much a 'must' and since my Sixth form won't let me wear full body clothes, I don't think I'd live very long.

This alone means I'd say yes; I fear death more than anything.

Not really because I can't into the sunlight, therefore, are excluded from most everything. Also, in this day and age, it's damn near impossible to always be out of sight while slaughtering people while having a place of residence, work, and so forth. But if I had to become one, I'd live in a 3rd world country so I can commit crime without being caught so easily. I would usually get victims by seducing them like Lestat.
