Poll: WoW vs AoC

So I'm in a predicament. I don't know which game to play, they both cost the same so I don't have to worry about that. But I would like the opinions of the masses if I may.
I've played both games and, I dunno, I think I like AoC more. WoW is so much grinding that I don't know if it's worth it.
Can anyone vouch for either game? Does WoW get better as you level up, and the beginning is the hard part? Or is Conan a better, gritty fantasy to play. I'm aware that WoW has a larger community than AoC, and that matters to (after all, can't play an MMO by yourself).
I know you think that since I've played both games then I should be able to decide for myself, but I'm stupid and can't so please advise.

I've played both games and, I dunno, I think I like AoC more.

Then play AoC.

I prefered AoC to WoW. The combat is oodles better.

AoC servers were cut down to half there size man.

Saying an MMO sucks because of a small community is like saying that Unreal Tournament sucks because it's not Halo.

Also most MMOs cut the number of servers so that they don't get spread thin. [100 people playing on 30 servers wouldn't be as effeciant as 100 people on 10 servers.]

Don't talk out of your ass. A good game is a good game even if it has a small community.

Seriously...Age of Conan is going to be shutdown within a year. It just can't compete. You should check of Warhammer Online before Age of Conan.

I'm not saying that popular games suck. I'm just saying that a lot of cult games are good games. [EDIT] Games shouldn't be judged by how much money they make; they should be judged based on how fun/well made/enjoyable they are. Judging a game based on prophet is like judging a person based on income.

I prefer WoW to all other MMOs.
Eipok Kurden will suggest you try EVE online.
I have been told to completely stay away from AoC.
If you do not want to try WoW, but want an MMO that is set in "medieval fantasy" (I guess would be the genre...) try W:AoR.

Honestly if u have time WoW is for u its fun now can lvl to 80 and i just love the Race's/Classes Death Knights are OP but tahts why u make one lol as a caster KD's are your worst nightmare

I tried many MMOs; Warhammer Age of Reckoning, Everquest 2, LOTR online, EVE online. Also a ton of free ones; 2 Moons, Voyage Century Online, Archlord, RF Online, etc. I awlays found myself coming back to WoW. I enjoy it for the Lore and story, which is a lot deeper than most MMOs I've played, that usually just have the very black and white, Good vs. Evil struggle and not much story to back it up. You are basically told "You are Good Guy/Bad Guy, go kill other faction! Enjoy game now!". Not a very strong hook if you ask me... I also like WoW for the endgame. Blizz makes such a good endgame and keeps patching and adding more endgame content (even now they are releasing a new Raid instance in Ulduar.) some people even say that the game starts at lvl cap since there is so much stuff to do. I've found myself having so much fun at lvl 70 (during BC) and now at lvl 80.

Neither are good. Try either LotRO or DDO.

Well, nobody that's played it has actually complained about it. The only real complaints are in the bugs, and those were worked out before I quit from a lack of end game content.

If you're feeling more up to AoC then play AoC. If you think you want to play WoW then play WoW. It's absurd and childish to think that player count mean that it's a bad game. Almost every MMO on the planet has had to lower the number of servers they have running. From Ultima Online to Anarchy Online to Dark Age of Camelot to EQ to EQ2 to Warhammer Online.

Damn I loved Tabula Rasa, It had so much potential, It is a great game, too bad people just can't look past a broken exterior to find a delicious creamy center these days...
