World Wrestling Entertainment has been around for decades - Total Nonstop Action roughly 7 years!

Which is your favourite and why?

I used to have a lot of love for WWE but somehoe lost love over the years - I recently started watching TNA and I have to say I am totally in love with it the way I used to be with WWE.

Has WWE got boring? I don't know - I know it has changed in a way I no longer can enjoy it but TNA can fill the void.

I checked search and nada!

Raw is pants, Smackdown is awesome, everything it could be given its 'pg' rating. Sure its not as good as attiude era. But smackdown is the bets wrestling show hands down. Tna insults my intelligence and the good ring action doesn't justify the stupidity that surrounds it. When they get it right they are amazing though, too bad that happens way too rare. WWE is still king, thats not changing, the quality goes up and down, but the talent on smackdown and the matches it puts on are head and shoulders above anything else really.

I used to watch both, but TNA has become so bogged-down with talk lately it's become boring. Couple that with the fact that WWE has CM Punk, Goldust, KANE, Big Show, Chavo, and Y2J; while the only guys on TNA I like are AJ (but who doesn't?), Booker, and Victoria. Yeah. I like WWE better.

Kneelift!

Watch Wrestling!

(nobody got that).

I count neither as 'Wrestling'.

Theater yes, Acting yes. But not wrestling.

Second, I'd like to think we as a culture have gone beyond fighting for entertainment like they did it in ancient Rome. But WWE and the likes are made for pure entertainment, there isn't even a competetive value in them.

These actors always remind me of my foolish hope that we'd actually become more civilized when we are just as brutal as we were over 2000 years ago.

'Wrestling' isn't for retards, but I also fail to see why civilized and educated persons would watch it.

Aww man the attitude era was the best ever!!

Why I like TNA - They have sting, foley, nash, suicide, motor city machine guns, dudleys. Styles and Matt Morgan - its filled with talent. WWE has awesome talent too but I havent seen them use it to their full potential recently.

I like the ring action - the storylines are cheesy and simple but the wrestling is awesome!

We watch it for pure entertainment like you said, what is to be ashamed of, talented atheletes performing choreagraphed moves to a storyline which when done right is nothing short of epic. Its the male version of Ballet, (unpopular comparision for fans :p), what is so uncivilized, its not like they intend to cause harm to each other, I don't see how you can consider it to be so brutal. Its not like the ufc where the fights are real and harm is done. WWE could be called civilized fighting. Its entertainment with all of the benefits with none of the brutality of real fights.

It has evolved into its own art form, where storys are told on a unique platform. I am not trying to get you to change your opinion, but I truely never understand people who don't like it because it is 'fake' or don't like it because its just dudes rolling around, when the reality is far from that view. Can a civilized and educated person not enjoy an entertaining art form?

Wow, I never thought that someone could be so down-to-earth and articulate when talking about Wrestling (I just call it that).
