^ I currently have a friend who is buying any old piece of crap, so long as it has 'simple' achievements, then trading them in for different, but still poor games, and so the cycle repeats. All because he is a score whore, he doesn't play the games because they are fun but simply for the points.

i love them because it adds life to the game, you may complete it but you aint done all the acheivements! i love it, acheivement whores ftw!

they encourage me to finish a game. That and they look cool.

But I agree with the idea of Microsoft giving us something for achieving these.

i hate em just cause of the twats that buy/rent as many shit games as possible, just for a high GS. the only time i can stand them is when i find a game i reli enjoy playing and ill go through and get all the achievements.
