Does anyone know why on my friends list-i can see everyone in my friends xbox live parties?
its confusing-when i go onto my friends list i only would like to see MY friends-not everyone else's friends too-its like my list is not mine now-its a community list o.o...WTF!!!-XBOX Live .....FIX URSELF-ur bugging me ! Anyone else having this problem?

yeah-this is a confusing one-you go onto xbox dashboard were it says my xbox and friends and so on-and u look at the friends and they have the avatars showing like waving and crap-and all these other avatars appear -i can see every avatar thats in ur xbox live party-its annoying!

That isn't a glitch, it's an intended feature to show everyone in the party... It's supposed to do that. Because it's a party.

Ok first of all whats with the poll? its completely pointless.

Second, As Kalezian has already explained its a standard feature now. While its annoying theres not much you can do about it.

I don't really care about seeing my friend's friends, an option to turn this off would be nice.

I don't care about my friends on XBL.
the only time I would look there is to start conversation or invite somebody.
and when they are in a party I can't do either.

All you need to do is hit the dashboard button get the blade up and go to your friend list that way. It will only show your friends.

When at first you make a difficult to get to, overly complicated, hard to read display of your friends (as opposed to just the blade list) and then it doesn't even show your fucking friends in exchange for some idiots they happen to be playing with...

Is it really that annoying? If it bothers you that much, just check your friends list on the blades (by pressing the xbox button). Problem solved.

No. It doesn't create game lag and you can get rid of them. They'll disappear when the party is disbanded or they leave. If you know your friend's screen name, then what does it matter if other avatars are there?
