Poll: Xbox Live

Recently, my xbox keeps disconnecting me from xbox live after about 15 minutes, i reconnect and it does the same later. Is it just me or is everyone having this problem.

PS: I Have a wired connection

If you have a wireless adapter, it does that. It's because you're not using your XBL...if it's doing it while you're engaging in an activity that involves XBL, I don't know what the problem is.

I've never had this issue. Have you tried going through the support website? Granted, it's a maze filled with circles, but it can hold some answers.

The problem seems to be with your "weird" connection - try going to online settings in the settings menu under the My Xbox tab. From there select test Xbox live connection and the automatic help service will explain your problem.

I have the problem, but I think it is because of my router... I don't even like to connect to XBL anymore, because I was offline for so long, a bunch of my achievements didn't count for some reason on XBL.. so when I connect to XBL, my gamerscore is about 2000 points lower.

This happened alot to me a while back but then I found that turning the wire port to port kept it from doing it non-stop, if this doesn't work I have no idea what's up.

It happens more often when you use a wireless adaptar so if it's really becoming a problem use an ethernet cable

Yes but only because I'm connecting wirelessley to a wireless internet connection.

I have a wireless connector on a different floor of the house than my modem and I have never randomly disconnected

I get random disconnects all the time, for unknown reasons, usually when I try to host something, however it tends to only be on some games. For example I can host a Call of Duty 4 match, and I can host a Halo 3 match, but I can't host Gears of War 2 games, TF2 games, or Rainbow Six Vegas 2 games.

The disconnects require me to reboot my modem, and considering I usually get 4 or 5 in one day, it gets pretty annoying.
