Really, the only thing I see myself getting an Xbox One for is Halo 5, plus the whole Halo TV series thing. The only thing I worry about the Halo TV series is that Spielberg tends to throw a ton of money at projects he works on, but if they only receive modest ratings, he abandons it like it's a sinking ship. Example: Terra Nova, traveling to alternate past universe during the time of the dinosaurs, conspiracies and intrigue and whatnot, what is not to love. But considering that millions were dumped into the show, the first sign of just okay ratings, they all jumped ship, making it become yet another good show that was getting better that ended canceled and ended on a cliffhanger with a ton of questions.
But really, I don't see myself getting a Xbox One till I already have a PS4, Wii U, 3DS, and a good PC, so it will be some time before I if at all get one. Though as I said in other threads, the stuff that Microsoft is doing with Xbox One doesn't effect me, because:
1.) I don't buy used games.
2.) My internet connection is perfectly fine.
3.) I'm actually a little interested in using a Kinect(since it has been improved).
4.) I'm not a paranoid person who thinks that Kinect 2.0 will be spying on him.
5.) Also, I do a good bit of TV and movie watching, and since I don't have a fancy smart TV, I'm a little interested in all the Xbox One TV stuff.
My problem for this next generation is money. Really, unless I win the lottery, it's probably going to take a good four to five years for me to get most of the things I want out of this next generation.
