Die,or face increasingly painful torture. You will be set free if you go though the torture.

Some of these include: Vocal Chords removed without painkillers,medical experiment,or toenails ripped out.

Well in theory i would choose torture, Because then i would come back with a gun.

a BIG gun.

Then i would start off by taking the people that tortured me, Pinning them to a wall with 4ft spikes through the arms & shins, Then slowly pick of the digits with a rusty spoon.

I suspect in that scenario torture would lead to death and death would be torture. So either way you are screwed. That said I would side with torture on the off set it means I live.
