Greetings, in light of these recent disgusting attacks that have resulted in a lot of us being left without online services and in fear of having our information stolen, I thought I would create this poll in order to see your responses.

So the Hacker stands before you in the dock in your courtroom, you are currently the Judge presiding over what is to be the Hacker's punishment, the Jury is completely certain this is the Hacker you are looking for. And no one will bat an eyelid no matter how harsh your punishment is.

So fellow Escapists, what's it to be? A hefty fine? Jail Time? Execution? The Stocks? You choose.

Let him rot in jail. It's not worth killing him, but giving him some time in the pokey might help straighten out.

Hmm, how do I edit the poll? I cannot seem to change one of the options.

EDIT: Nevermind, it seems to show the rest of it when you click it. The one I mean is Being forced to listen to, it is actually Being forced to listen to 'Friday' over and over again.

jail, fines, and permanent restrictions on access to computers. i couldn't fucking care less about the service outage, but stealing personal information is low.

Every single user of the PSN that was actually affected gets to punch or kick them once.

He gives technology enthusiasts a bad look.

But he should be judged in front of a real court and given a fair sentence.

Also,
[HEADING=1]A HACKER IS ONE WHO TINKERS WITH COMPUTERS;
A CRACKER IS A CYBER CRIMINAL![/HEADING]
Get it right people... C'mon.

Fuck yes!

You know I had something but I think I'm just going to second this.

(Was it a him or her? I guess it doesn't matter either way.)

I think the hacker just needs to pay restitution. What was that groundless and vaguely arbitrary number floating around? $350 per member? Sure, let's go with that.

And what if he can't pay three trillion dollars? Not my problem! He should have thought of that before.

Haha! A fine idea.
A small amendment. Every single PSN user that was affected and every single user of every other platform that's had to listen to PSN users complain about being affected gets to punch or kick them once.

I'd happily wait in line for the chance to give a swift backhand across the face. If I have to listen to one more person tell me about how close they were to going prestige or whatever I will start killing hostages.

And the time of writing this post, execution is currently the second highest selceted poll option.
...Eh, it's the Escapist, what did I expect?

OT: I'd probably give them a huge fine if I need to take one of the poll's options.

I like the idea of him never being able to use any other electrical devices since this is a more modern era devices such as those are highly needed and with Mr Hacker not being allowed any would surley produce the results i would be looking for.

Actually they can also be termed as "Reality Hackers".
