Well it depends where I find the note. Am I on my computer when I look at the TV, and then when I look back at my computer there's a note sitting on the keyboard? Or do I just find it on the street or something?

Only if it happens twice...then I know its for reals. I would probably barely look into it, but save the note.

How else would he know who I am?

But yes, I would believe it. I would probably just throw the note on the enormous stack of mail and newspapers I have and let it sit there for a few weeks till I got around to actually finding the people.
Are you shitting me? You think the most logical way of them knowing who you are is that they're you "from years ago"?

You cannot be that gullible, or lack that much imagination.

OT: I'd wipe my arse with the note if I'd run out of toilet paper, or I'd laugh in their face and throw it in a bin.

I'd go back to school and learn proper spelling and grammar. Oh wait... I KNOW how to correctly write in English...

Throw the note away, couldn't have been me.

I'd keep on walking and repeatedly reading it while I try to wrap my head around what it all means before failing to get it, but I'd still hold on too it

My biggest question would be how he remembered that he had been reincarnated when the note said

"You see, I learned that when you die, you are reincarnated, and you lose your memories of your past life".

Or how did he learn this, or how did the first person who wrote this note figure out that you reincarnate in the first place?
... My head hurst...

No. Firstly, because I know me, and I wouldn't talk to myself like that. Second, it makes absolutely no sense. Third, even if it did make sense, what would be the point?
Hey, you used to be someone else...
But, then you died...
And now you're you...
?????
Profit.

Well, first of all, there is no description on how to find the other people, so I wouldn't be able to do anything even if I wanted too. Other than pass it on to a random person of course(probably like the guy who sent it to you in the first place).

Eh, if a strange man was trying to give me something, I would run away.

Well, to be honest if that happened to me in real life I'd probably just nod politely, take the note and toss it as soon as I was out of eyesight (unless the guy had some *very* compelling proof).

I would try to learn more, and eventually go Jackie Chan on the asses of the assassins who're hired by past-life me to kill present-me. I might try to save the other people who're also in danger of assassination, but that would be completely secondary (unless one of them is a hot love-interest with mysterious powers!) Eventually, I would build a time machine and go back to fight past-life me in a duel of the fates! I, of course, would win because I'm the superior version!! ;D

But then it would turn out that all of this was just a test; to prepare me to battle a future version of myself who has become evil and has taken over the world!!

Man, I should write this down, it's good.

Let's say that your walking down the street one day, and random man walks up to you and gives you a small sheet of paper.

The paper says:
"Hello _____
I am you from years ago. I am not a time travler. You see, I learned that when you die, you are reincarnated, and you lose your memories of your past life. I am going to die soon, and I have hired people to hunt you down, and give you this letter. You must find out who the other soon to be dead people will turn into, and send them notes like this.."
and then the note is ripped.

Now, if you saw a strange note like this, would you try to learn more about this note? Or just throw it away?
Will not care. On an unrelated note, I got a weird PM from a guy who apparently got his account banned, but it said this:

Anon is watching you:
this is your only warning

NO!!!

It's a IRL chain letter, you know one of those really annoying things that your friends/relatives send you...

Avoid it at all costs, plus it will just waste your life...
