Go for the TARDIS option because you could make a lot of money with time travel anyway. Invest your money in saving accounts with high interest rates, travel forward in time by a hundred years or so, and withdraw lots of more money. Go back in time and buy shares in today's massive companies when they were in the embryonic stage. You could make so much cash by applying hindsight to the stockmarket- and that hindsight is readily available if you have the TARDIS.

i think it's remarkable how many people will comment on a thread before reading the question, or indeed just not read the question at all, you wouldn't have a tardis, you would have but a key

Money.

I hate doctor who, there basically James Bond with a sci fi twist. James Bond films follow the same plot all the time, maybe the new ones are different but there was always certain scenes in the old one (the car chase, the "no I except you to die after explaining my evil plot", the gadgets, the "we are about to get freaky" at the end of the film)

Doctor who always saves the world/himself/his friends/universe in an episode, two if it's a special.

Plus there only the keys to the thing, not the actual thing ... the keys are useless, might as well be keys to a shed or some long lost lock box.

The money is actually useful, can be used for all manner of things and if you do it wisely you can make it last a life time.

Go back in time to like 1930-50's, but a grand in a bank account (ISA if they existed then) go back to now, gather in insane amount of interest earned. Rinse and repeat ^_^
