Hello, I'm just wondering if anyone else finds You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban to be an utterly moving song. I've only really heard it at funerals, so I my view may be filtered, but I find it moving.

So for the poll, do you find it moving?
For discussion, if you don't find it moving, what song moves you?

No song moves me. It's just noise. Some of it is very good noise, but still just noise.

No, if you want a moving song, listen to Hurt by Johnny Cash or Nine Inch Nails. Both equally moving.

I'm not saying it's the most moving song, it's just one I've heard played and alot of people respond to it. I must say Hurt, is also a fan-fucking-tastic song. Though I prefer the Cash cover to the original.

I prefer the original, but I'm slightly biased having seen Nine Inch Nails paly it as the finale for their last UK show in the Wave Goodbye tour. Made me cry.

Dude, I can only imagine. Out of curiosity, how many other people were crying?

I'd say a fair few, the O2 Arena was pretty much filled, so I'm certain some others were.

I love the Josh Groban version of You Raise Me Up :D He was on Never Mind The Buzzcocks too, and seemed really friendly and nice =P

I like the song done by most people, but it doesn't move me.
