I'm hoping to accomplish everything I need to do in life before I hit 40, otherwise it'll just be a daily suffering until I finally croak. Maybe I'll be spared and actually not have to live long enough to become an utterly useless old fart. One can dream, hmm? I envy those who can die young and never worry about growing old.

I feel anyone 40+ on these forums is like anyone in their 20s/30s going into a 'teen' chat room or forums designed for teen girls.

Whoa...you must be very young indeed. =P Seriously, the last time I checked it was only 13 year olds (and under) who thought that 40 was 'practically dead'. ;-)

I'm in the 20-30 bracket, which is a nice place to be. I'm also in grad school, which is a less nice place to be =P

Holy crap, there are a lot of teenagers here. Damn kids get off my lawn unless you can remember what dial-up was and actually had it at your house on the single phone line so your parents had to kick you off whenever they wanted to call someone. And when cell phones were a New Thing in terms of major public use.

Let's just say I can legally drink in America, and we'll leave it at that. There's your minimum.

Curiousity-wise how do you define "kids" cos I remember dial-up all too well (in fact, it's just occurred to me that kids are growing up without having heard that iconic noise) and yet I'm only 21.
As a matter of fact, when was broadband mainstream? Because dial-up seemed to have been in my life far too long.

I'm 17, and my birthday is in September which means that I'm the only one in my French class under 18 during our trip to France in April D:
