Ecto/Meso

I was skinny as hell for years (some people even called me Ausch cuz they said I looked like an Auschwitz survivor >_>) and thru laziness I started putting on weight in HS. Finally started working out and I've found I can drop weight relatively easy.

Kinda odd. Genetically you would think I would be more of an Endo/Meso based on my family but that's thankfully not the case :)

Ecto/meso I'm a "scrawny"(can't bench over 200 like crazy football fat-asses can) guy but I am a Masters class swimmer(other swimmers will know what I mean) so I have some muscle. I used to have to watch what I eat a lot, but if you do hard swimming it does not really matter because you burn a ton.

I never really said healthy.

I just said fit and active.

Take for instance my brother, who happens to be on the opposite spectrum as myself. He's generally pretty fit and is able to ride 10+ miles on a bike even though all he does all day is eat skittles, drink Dr. Pepper, and play WoW.

I envy his genes!

Myself being an Endo/Meso, I find it quite a bit more difficult to stay fit. Hence the flab resurgence that ultimately started this thread.

I'm an Ectomorph. Ectomorph. Ec-to-morph.

Wow. Saying that makes me feel like some kind of sinister alien, instead of a skinny runt.

Im not sure I am any of those... at the moment I am rather... fluffy but growing up before the age of like 12 I was always a fairly skinny kid, and age 12 is when I really started to get lazy. I am pretty sure if I exercised even a little bit I could be quite skinny, but I am not to worried about it.

So... none of the above?

And of course, there's the Endomorph: We endomorphs are naturally fat and find it difficult to lose that fat. Thankfully, there is a light at the end of this tunnel, a strict low fat, low calorie diet coupled with regular cardiovascular exercise and intense weight lifting can put you into great shape in a year or two. Nobody said it would be easy.
May I suggest the Zone Diet by Barry Sears? It's a diet, but it explains some substances that can make your body fat, etc, etc.
Do you know Manuel uribe? You know, the most fat person in the world? He started having this diet, and curiously enough it's working. He has lost about 400 lbs and he still want to lose some more. Check it out, if you want, and I recommend it.
OT: I think Ectomorph, but not very sure.
I've heard of it, but I'm going to try my own for a while, seeing as it's worked for me in the past.

Basically, I just eat less, eat healthy, and do my cardio.

Both sides of my family are endomorphic. No one in my family is particularly thin, though there are a few good examples of people working hard to keep themselves in shape and looking good with a healthy weight.
Me? I'm technically overweight, but my body fat is well distributed, and I try to wear clothes that accentuate my better attributes. I get a suprising amount of, "Wait, you weigh more than me?" kinda moments, even from people who dislike me far too much to try and compliment me. I avoid junk food and I work out four times a week. Still, I haven't changed weight since I gained ten pounds from being put on the Pill, though. That's generally how it is with my family; once you put weight on, it doesn't come off. I just have to make sure to not gain any more weight.

Ecto/meso - I have a large build but im not fat and im naturally stronger than plenty of people my age.

I have a really high metabolism so I can eat loads of crap and never gain.

I'm POSITIVE you mixed up meso and ecto... I'm meso (ecto?) and endo.
I'm fairly sure that I didn't. But then again, I'm not incredibly educated about the topic.

Interesting, so there's a name for myself other than "The skinniest guy you'll ever know." Ectomorph sounds a hell of a lot more badass.

A light Endomorph. I'm not obese, but I could stand to eat healthier and visit the gym semi-regularly instead of once in a razmatazz moon.

I'm usually average leaning toward the skinny side(175 pounds is heavy for me), hell when I was in the best shape I was only 130.

I've never found an active hobby that I've liked very much so I'm usually carrying 20 extra pounds. Though every once in awhile I get sick of it, go fitness crazy and lose it all. It just comes back when I get sick of exercising for the sake of exercising...
