$35 Canadian Plus taxes (About $40 after, which is about $40 American)
I am with Fido and get unlimited texts, 100 Daytime talking minutes and 7pm-7am talk unlimited. My phone is an LG Blackberry knock-off that's about 4 years old now. It's good for what I use it for since I don't have internet on my phone. I have a monthly contract, though, so I can cancela anytime.

Canada is shit for service costs. My sister's plan which has pretty low data levels costs about $80 after taxes. She has the Samsung Galaxy...some number (not the newest) and is on a 3 year contract. I think she's with Rogers.

Dudewhat, are you people glued to your mobiles or something, who spends a hundred dollars per month and why.

Mobile prices are just way more expensive in the U.S., you'd have to ask telecom companies why they charge so much. They'd probably give out some B.S. answer about how the U.S. isn't as urbanized as countries like Sweden so they pay more to get service to suburbs and such. It sort of ignores the fact that Australia is roughly equally urbanized, and they still pay noticeably less.

I am pretty glued to my phone though. I hate it when I get tagged in pictures on Facebook and I'm on my phone.

Sure it's a budget provider, something you notice at times in terms of coverage, but it's perfect for my needs. And even with decent Spotify usage I can't fill up 1GB a month.

Is this some sort of homework assignment? I feel like I'm being tested.
