Poll: Your favorite Music?

I'm pretty narrow minded when it comes to music, I'm afraid. I tend to disregard anything besides metal. But on the other hand I'll give any genre of metal a listen, be it goth, death or plain old heavy metal.

Mathcore, Progressive Metal, occaisonally Death Metal, Jazz guitaring is amazing but I don't particularly like the singers, Instrumental Guitar, some Classical, whatever Chroma Key is and Paramore, gotta love Paramore.

Bossa Nova really takes my fancy at the moment, and then Bebop is my primary style to play.

Mainly guitar, I owned a double bass but sold it, it was just too big to transport!
I play bongos and mandolin too but not so much.

That's cool. I love double bass, but they are huge.

I play piano and saxophone(s). Mainly, I like to play blues, but I play a lot of bebop and latin jazz too. I'm starting to play some swing / big band era stuff. It's pretty cool.

Awesome, I always see myself as a bit of a plebeian compared to those that play instruments like piano or sax. And one word explains why: Frets.
It's like you can go "Musical theory? Pah! Who needs that when I have frets!?"

While that can be true, it isn't necessarily. If you play sax fast enough, it sounds good no matter what you do. (You do that when you get lost.)

probably techno (yes it's music yes it's original fuck off) though I don't really define a favorite I define favorite at the time. so techno punk, metal, rock, classic rock, classical, have been my favorites at one time or another. and again techno IS real music.

whoa pal, no need to be so defensive, techno is awesome. I myself enjoy rock and a lot of stuff that i just enjoy. Mostly my collection is rock because...well it rocks.

not defensive I've just met people who think techno ain't real music and say so at every opportunity so I've started doing the opposite just to be a dick. I'm allowed to do it because it's neither flaming nor bating and I only do it in threads where it's apropriate.
