Samus in Melee. She's just the character I played the most, and had a lot of neato tricks and glitches to play around with.
Probably Wolf in Brawl just because some of his claw attacks had this wicked vicious sound effect, and you could beat any casual player by spamming his back air.

I didn't play much Brawl, so I don't really have a favorite character there.
I remember loving Pikachu in both the original and Melee though. And I played the heck out of Captain Falcon in Melee. I just loved how he announced all his moves and the undeniable badassery that is the FACLON PAWNCH!

Generally, I play with a random character, because being an all-rounder is much more impressive than owning with Ike and nobody else.
I play my best with the Ice Climbers, but I'll only pick them if my opponent really pisses me off.

I liked Game&Watch, it was always hilarious watching these realistically rendered nintendo characters get whapped with a turtle by this weird, literally 2-dimensional being. That, and he made retro noises any time he moved, just running across a stage had a perplexing charm to it.
Mainly Bowser and Jigglepuff. They are awesome. But i play with a lot of them, it is boring just playing the same dude over and over.
pikachu and kirby are my favorite. the speed combined with strong attacks always lets me win against slower charecters. my main weakness is ness/lucas.
I don't know why, but my best characters to use are Peach, Zelda, and Zero Suit Samus. I guess becase I use the Hit then Run tactic. But for a character that can take alot of damage and quickly knockout an opponent, I would say King DeDeDe.
