Sorry to dissappoint, but this thread is not about the cloth phallic symbol that goes around your neck on formal occasions. I'm speaking of the Empire's line of screamy, cannon fodder starfighters: the TIE Fighter.

For some reason, I always found the TIE fighters somewhat appealing, even though they practically are cockpit-shaped coffins mounted on a pair of engines with two cannes nailed to the side for good measure. Now, if Wookieepedia is any clear indication, Sienar Fleet Systems produced a whole lot of different TIE models with..."mixed" results.
To cut to the chase, which of the more "iconic" TIE Fighters do you like the most, by aestethics or capabilities?
To me, it's a tie (pun most definitly NOT intended) between the Interceptor's sinister look and the Defender's ridiculus performance.
