I'm not entirely sure, but I'm going to say Genji: Dawn of the Samurai for PS2, it was mainly rated M for blood ... which was pointless, i was probably 13 or so

I can't even begin to recall what my first M game was. If I had to take a guess I'd say Mortal Kombat, but I'm not even sure if the ESRB existed then. I know my parents didn't care back then, but I also didn't play as many games then either. I just remember MK got a lot of press as a violent game back then.

Anyway, yeah, I was playing M-Rated games at roughly at 8 or 9.. maybe 10. Can't quite remember what the first one was. But not long after I got my Playstation 1.
