I consider the frequent users of RP and Forum Games better friends than my real friends.

I will be both your friends!

OT. I trust them with my location, but that's as much as I trust my IRL friends too. I'm not a trusting person. The only person I trust completely is my Girlfriend

Yeah, I have several really good friends that I've only ever talked to online. Heck, one of them may as well be my twin that got separated at birth. Only he's older, and I've never seen his face. So he's technically nothing like a twin.

But you know what I mean, and that right there is a clear example of how online friendships can work. The odds of running into someone that is practically a dual copy of you while going about your daily life is very low. But online, you're going to congregate to the same areas, and the odds of meeting in a forum or chatroom is really damn good.

I don't have 'online' friends.

I have to be careful not to spend my entire life in front of a screen since I'm studying IT at uni. I like to socialise in person and spend time with people. I also do most of my talking on websites like this because I enjoy a debate and no offence but you guys...don't really seem to know the difference between a debate and an argument.
None taken. In fact, your correct about that last part.

OT: They're friends, like any other.

i know you're my real friend! :) *hug*

on topic, though: i have met some interesting people online. i have made one really close friend on this site, and i've fallen in love with someone i met here as well...maybe i just trust my escapist friends, because i've never really met anyone that i've gotten close to anywhere else. this is where i go to talk to the people who brighten my day, somehow i was adopted into a family, and i really feel like i connect with most of these people. :) usually i don't trust anyone i meet online, but for some reason, this place is different.

I have no real life friends of my own (at least none that live in the same state as me) but I love you all dearly as if you were my real friends.

There's no difference to me one way or the other. You guys are my friends.

The fact that I don't see you everyday and there's no face to face intimacy doesn't matter to me.

Besides....I've recently fallen for someone here whom I love dearly, so yeah, just because it's over the internet doesn't change things for me.

I hate them all, especially you two.

Nah I love them all dearly and trust them just as much as I trust my "real" life friends, some I trust more then real life friends.
The feeling is mutual, I'm just waiting until you tell me where you live.

Hmph, I already told you where I live and just because your jealous of my hair you don't have to call me names!

if friends found on Xbox live count then yes I have some and it kinda depends. One of them would use me as a scout in the zombie apocolypse if I went to where he was hunkered down so on the my life thing its a maybe. The other two I'd be more likely to trust them with my life. And here on the site I've be friended afew fine fellows that I'd trust though Im not yet sure what with

Yay! I dunno why, but it always makes me happy when I hear about people meeting up and falling in love in unlikely places. I think an internet forum about videogames counts as unlikely. :)

They're as cool as a bowtie.

Which is very much so, just so you know.

Calumon: I thought that other guy talked about that? :S

I trust them lots!

Not really with my life since they aren't really all that dependable, but definitely with a valuable shiny thing, which in this case is a golden starfish.

It is nice to hear about that.

One of my friends here (Divine Miss Bee) also met someone here whom she's fallen in love with and I'm so happy for her ^-^

It's a great feeling once you find something you've been searching for for so long :D

I have two online friends, and from what I know about them, I'd happily shake their hand, buy them a few drinks, and give them a place to crash for a few nights.

Sky and Sega, you know who I mean ;D

I consider them friendly people. Not actual friends. (Sorry.)

There are only a handful of people who you can truly call friends.

Some, I trust more than a lot of people I know in real life.
Others, I wouldn't even be in the same room as given any chances.
