I think the first game I played was this 3D vector game that I played on my family's Performa back maybe 14 years ago. It was called Specter Challenger or something. It was this 3D vector game where you (the green tank, consisting of a couple of connected shapes) had to collect flags, avoid buildings (yellow rectangles) and shoot enemies (red boxes, orange tetrahedrons, etc.) It was so much fun, and even though I only got to play through to about level three or four, I still loved it to death.

I was 10 or so I think. My first game was AoE2 I think. My first milestone was playing a game without cheats on. Good times.
The same, but with AoE1. Epic game.

Really young. I don't remember how young, but my dad brought home an N64 one day and we played Ditty Kong Racing, Super Mario 64, and, of course, Mario Kart. Still the best memories I have of my dad.

i think i was about 8 or 9 and i was playing Age of Empires

my first true accomplishment in gaming was when i first beat KotOR, just because for me it was my first rpg and it was very long compared to what i was used too, or it was completing Medal of Hounor Frontlines (my first fps)

Pretty young, like 4, and It was that Star Wars Hoth rail shooter on N64. As for Milestone probably when I first beat Spyro the Dragon Ripto's rage In the epic flying magama pterodactyl battle.

I don't remember exactly, but my first games were those children's games that seemed really awesome until you were about twelve. Case in point: Any game made by Humongous Entertainment. Freddy Fish, Spy Fox, Pajama Sam, you name it.

HeySeansOnline: The original trilogy of Spyro games are some of the best action platformers I've ever seen, though I think they personally ties with Crash Bandicoot 1-3.

When I was 10 the first game that got me interested in gaming was Earthbound for the SNES and my first milestone was beating Frank and the Frankystien MK 2 without my uncle's help.

God I loved that game and the awesome guide that came with it.
