Guess "Sleep when I'm Dead" is the only choice for me since there's no 48+ hours option.
It happened back in high school, me and some friends had a weekend-long LAN party (for lack of a better term) when really it was a Final Fantasty Tactics (original PS) competition. The objective: who can beat FFT first, completing every possible side mission (i.e. getting Cloud, Beowulf, doing the Deep Dungeon, etc). Everyone tossed in $10, winner got to keep it all, and about 54 hours later, I found myself about $70 richer. :3
One person was literally a battle ahead of me, I was on the first part of the final battle and he was on the 2nd. But he ended up dying and had to start the fight over, by that time I had already started it and ended up beating him by about 5 minutes or so.

Longest was around 48 hours. It was a campaign on ROTK VIII with some friends. Best weekend ever!
Don't really know for sure but if I had to guess I'd say around 20 hours, because after that my mind starts to get somewhat laggy and I start to get killed a lot. There are severl games however which I have played that long Mass Effect, Fallout 3 GOTY, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC, Mass Effect 3, Resident Evil 4, Borderlands GOTY.
But the most wicked run like this was with Doom 3, I have no idea how long I played it but I did play it all the way through, mind there is a catch prior to playing Doom 3 I had spent 35-40 hours preparing for my philosophy exam and then took the exam and only then I started to play. It is kinda cool to think about it now but in retrospect I would have never done that because I had svere headaches for weeks after that.

I was the most persistent player on the server, I have a mic, and I was my team's VERY active Medic, so I eventually became my team's General and directed my team in the battle.
It was by FAR the most organised game of TF2 I've ever played, and the longest and hardest fought battle I've ever seen in the game.
Ended up that my team FINALLY captured the 3 CP right as the time limit ran out....but then for some reason the game kept going and nobody was awarded victory, so that's when the game pretty much fell apart.
Probably about 5 hours.
I fairly regularly play through the Max Payne games. I can do MP2 in 1 sittiny, I reckon that's about 5 hours. I need a break to get through the first.
