Poll: Your PS3 Welcome Back Gifts

Just curious, how exactly do I redeem my free game? Do I just go into the PS store and click download? Or do I need to go through my e-mail account, or someother method? Thank you in advance for any advice!

Go on the store and click on the welcome back option. should be on the main list of things. then follow what it says. Theres an option to get the free games, then the list of games itself. Theres also 30 days playstation plus that activates when you decide to download it i think.

Little Big Planet (which isn't that good now that I've played it)
And Wipeout (gameplay videos I watched of it remind me of the Star Wars Podracer game I had on my N64). That one is still downloading.

I would have loved for the Ratchet and Clank game to be available in the US for free because I was planning on getting it anyway.

I got inFAMOUS because Im really psyched to play the second one and I wanted to play through it again. I also got Wipeout. Spacey futuristic racing doesn't need a reason.

I downloaded Infamous yesterday and went to download Wipeout today but lo and behold I can't get onto the Welcome Back page. I guess I don't get a second game now? Jesus Sony get your act together.

Go to account management, transaction management, services list, scea promotions, welcome back package
Its because of all the traffic on the store

When i went to get my first game, the "Free PS3 Game 1" button was the only option. I didn't know the other 5 choices were supposed to be there in the same window. they weren't, so i just selected "free ps3 game 1." Then at the main "welcome back" page, that option was gone, me having chosen no game.

I'm fed up. I was so forgiving and understanding during this whole thing. But if after all this you can't even get the fucking store to do this shit right, then I've got a problem.

Leave the store, go to the PSN menu catagory in your PS3's main menu. Then go to "Account Management" then "Transaction Management" then "Services List" then "SCEA Promotions" you should then be able to select your games.

Own inFAMOUS and LBP, so went for Super Stardust and Dead Nation. I am actually impressed by super stardust, had so little hope that it would be any good, but it is kind of addicting. Haven't tried Dead Nation yet, but I liked Alien Swarm.

inFAMOUS is amazing. I'm on my fourth playthrough now.

I couldn't get anything, it bugged out when I tryed, that's not to say I didn't own everything on offer excluding the Fury pack for Wipeout HD, so I'm not that bothered.

Loving it.
I also got Burnout: Paradise from the PSN+ subscription, and is loving that too!

I personally don't own a PS3 but I'd probubly pick infamous. Well, I should say if i didn't already own it for being a great game. I really think this is still a big "fuck you" to the loyal customers, giving you games that are 2 years old.

LittleBigPlanet and WipeOut HD+Fury. I've wanted to try LBP for a while but never saw the appeal of paying for it since I only got like 6 people on my friends list on PSN... I already have InFamous (one glitched Blast Shard away from platinum'ing it too...), and the other games didn't interest me that much.

I really need to get to know more people with a PS3...

Wipeout and Dead Nation, already got the other ones. Gotta check the Psp list still.

I'd say Ratchet and Clank's a bit shallow. I played through it once (2hrs? can't remember) and there's none of the collecting and upgrading of the larger games. Can't remember any of it quite frankly, except that there's pirates...

Now, this is annoying but there's a workaround. Account management> Transaction Management> Services List> Welcome Back (or something like that, the option no longer comes up on my console)

Thanks for that, thought I'd botched it by letting the connection time out before selecting a 2nd game.
