I find if funny, sometimes. If it's on, and I'm bored, I'll watch/listen to it.
100% this.

Do you count things like Modern Family or the Office?

Anyway, it's an above average laugh-track sitcom, which means it only makes me want to kill the entire human race twice an episode, as opposed to the usual five.
The Office? Ugh that show is painful for me to watch.
Why, if I might ask?
I find that it tries way too hard and is way too dry. It's boring and unfunny to me. I just find it stupid. But it's weird because I can watch crap like Aquateen Hungerforce, which a majority of people I know hate with a passion. I've really tried watching The Office (both English and American versions) and I just can't do it.

It's not the worst sitcom i've ever seen.

I used to find it quite funny, but as the show went on it just seemed to be more about the inuendos than anything else.

Yea its good mindless tv. Basicly Charley Sheen playing himself
No its Charlie Sheen playing his fantasy of his life, in reality he had 3 wives, 2 he beat and 1 he "accidentally" shot.

Seen it a few times.

Never laughed during an episode.

I found it annoying but then again, it's a sitcom. How many sitcoms are actually good?

[sup][sup][sup]Psst...the answer is "none"[/sup][/sup][/sup]

EDIT: Okay, some of you didn't get what I meant, so I'll rephrase the question to be more clear;

"How many currently airing sitcoms are actually good?"
Wow, good thing you never come to my house. I live for older sitcoms. Friends, Frasier, Raymond, Two and a Half Men and a few others. Toss in a few dramas both new and old, alongside Hell's Kitchen and a couple design shows and you have my TV life.

And that does not include hockey, xD

How is it worse? Because it's pointless joke after joke?
Family Guy (with the exception of the last 2 or 3 seasons) is the best comedy cartoon. Ever.
FG doesn't pretend to be something meaningful with a moral at the end, like many sitcoms do. It's just pure, mindless retardation; and I'm loving it.[/quote]

Early Family Guy was funny, you're definitely right about that dude. I think maybe up to season 3 was good. But then Seth McFarlane fucked it up by turning it into his personal soapbox to spout his personal beliefs. There are still some funny moments and stuff, but i think ol' Seth has pretty much run it into the ground.

Also, the best comedy cartoon!? Futurama ftw! And if you disagree you can bite my shiny metal ass!

Edit: screwed up quote, but you can see who wrote it by scrolling up.

You are missing NOTHING.

The jokes are bland, boring, and follow the BOOK-O-JOKES from letter A-Z. In fact, I can give you the story line of half of the episodes

*Beginning, stupid kid walks in, makes unfunny joke, two older, possibly homosexual men, watching TV rebuttal, someone walks in with unexpected plot point, problem, solution, applause, end.*
This has been a complete summary of 6 out of 7 of the seasons.

It isn't superduper funny.
But some episodes are lol.

I can think of a worse show like say, FAMILY GUY.

And that is why I hate it.
It tries to hard to just be retarded that it's so unlikeable.
Peter Griffin is completely unlikeable.

There is NOTHING likeable with that show.
What the fudge are you guys talking about? While it is random, the show has a message in it; I've seen it shine through several times.

The moral is: Being an Intellectual Atheist who talks down to the masses because the masses are retarded is the best thing you can be! (Don't believe me? Fallow the episodes "Boys Do Cry", where since because Stewie Vomited from Drinking whine, everyone thinks Stewie is possessed; "Not All Dogs Go To Heaven", where since Brian is an Atheist, everyone starts to hate him to death, going so far as for Adam West to Consider Muslim Extremists better then Brian, and towards the end, there is a Book Burning by Church Goers; "Dog Gone", where Brian runs over a dog, burries it, eventually confesses to it but no one cares, and then tries to turn everyone into Vegetarians but they end up trying to eat him (They give up); and most recently, "Excellency in Broadcasting", where every Republican is a person who wants to live in the 1950's and hates all forms of Minority, as well as advancement and abortion)

OT: It's okay. I don't honestly care about the show.

I saw a few episodes and I am convinced that it is the most unfunny boring sitcom since full house. I personally can't wait for Charlie Sheen to OD on cocaine so I don't have to deal with that unfunny wreak anymore..
Ok that was a bit too harsh but I at least hope it gets canceled, along with family guy, I had to put that somewhere I despise that show since it turned into a montage of musical numbers and jokes that drag on for an eternity after they stop being funny.

I'm so glad someone finally asked.

It is free public access television at its lowest. Charlie is an insecure playboy, his brother is a disaster magnet. So boring. One time it popped on my TV when I had company over. Almost instinctively, I hit Power on the DVD remote and we watched Children of Men instead.

I think the number one host rule is... 1. Never force people to watch stand-up comedy.

Rule 2 is always have popcorn.
