Whatever I find the most efficient. In Halo it was the battle rifle and the shotgun. In Fallout 3 it was mines, the Guass Rifle, or the Shotgun. In Doom 3 it was the chainsaw, machine gun, or BFG for those really hairy fights.

I would choose a combo of a sword and magic if I could, or just a sword if I couldn't.

I always get the question "Why would you carry a sword if you're able to use guns?"

OT: Whenever a game will let me these days, a minigun, preferably a mobile one that I can carry. GTA 4 was severely lacking in that department, but luckily Just Cause 2 made up for it and then some.

Aside from that, I'm rather partial to a really good sniper rifle. The first that come to mind are the rifles in Bad Company, but Red Dead has some brilliant ones too.

Well, she definitely didn't expect that and stood there silly for a minute and a half, before she told me that Big Friendly Giant is what she had in mind, not a weapon of bloody mayhem.

And because of you guys voting magic, something in me starts picturing My Little Pony as a violent, gory show full of fireballs and ice missiles. Why? Cause Friendship is Magic and to you obviously magic is the best mean of murder (ironically both users with a pony for a picture voted magic; guess friendship is deadly)

Definitely a firearm. Either an assault rifle or a shotgun, depends on the situation. I don't really have a favourite weapon.

The AK-47 is my weapon of choice. Powerful and more reliable than any other gun. A sword and shield would be my second choice.
