I guess it depends on what you mean by core opinions.
To answer the question, I guess, Yes and no... My views on God and Religion, for example, have changed dramatically and yet at the same time not that dramatically at all. I still believe, but in a way that's not so wishy washy or pedantic as it has been in the past. I've thought a lot about it from both sides and continue to think about it.
My views on politics have headed towards a more "Freedom oriented" stance than they have been in the past (Libertarian-ish), and I'm much less hostile (not that I was ever a torches and pitchforks kind of guy) to other ideas simply because they're fun and worthwhile to think about.
I like to know and experience things. If change is off the table then it means that either I all ready know it all (in regards to these "core opinions") or I have forsaken truth for stubborness.
