First off, I love youtube. It sometimes has very great videos and it seems every day, I watch at least one video off that site a day. But aside from the people who post videos, who usually don't post anything other than said videos, everyone else seems to be... well..... idiots...

Not everyone fits into this category, but most often when I see a video get posted, it's flooded with meaningless comments, or grammar that would cause an English teacher to kill themselves.

Some examples that are around are:

Every valve related movie has a good number of "The cake is a lie!" posts.
In most failblog movies, people flood with comments of "Did he die?"
In movies in a series, people flood the comments with "(Repeat inserting the number of the next episode here)"

And finnaly there are ads for unrelated things in almost every video thats been watched a good number.

So I have two quesions. One, what do you think of the youtube community, and two I'm curious if we can have meaningful comments (which this being the escapist, I don't doubt there will be) on this random youtube video that I chose for this.

Honestly... my thoughts are for the video, if you can pull this dance off, you will get lots of respect from me,because the fast pace, along with the synchronization you would need with your partner....

It's just astounding.

Almost every YouTube commenter is an idiot.

That's the best way that I could sum it up short of going onto YouTube and finding actual comments which shouldn't be that hard.

Youtube sucks. ASS.

My comment right now was about as constructive as every comment on youtube put together.

Na, I'm just kidding. Youtube doesn't have any constructive comments.

Interestingly, while we did fake the moon landing, the studio where we did it was on the moon.

I only ever post positive comments on videos that I enjoyed on Youtube. I feel that I'm helping to make it a slightly better place, one positive comment at a time :)

Thankfully, my videos (here for those interested [http://www.youtube.com/user/crispymongoose]) have only ever had good comments. Except for very rarely, when I had one retard spewing hate and bile for no apparent reason, but it was just a troll and I managed to delete the offending comment. However, I've seen some really bad stuff on there, especially on videos regarding racism and homosexuality. Some people are just idiots. At least my game music videos have little to entice trolls.

That said, one of my videos (here [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AkGno57BZQ]) is pretty damn controversial with the footage it contains, and nobody ever seems to care. Odd, really, when it has so much (unintentional) flamebait...
