At first it was Bayonetta and I was like "OH SHIT NO!" but then I remembered that I recently played Pokemon again which means I'm stuck in RPG's. Which isn't terrible their stories are grand and most of them are very long.....oh not the countless grinding battles.....PLEASE NO!

I recently finished Half-Life 2 (for the first time!), and if the rest of them can be as challenging and good as it was, I'm happy.

Last game was Scott Pilgrim vs. the Game so that would action games, not bad depending on how wide this genre lock considers action games.

The last game I played was Dead Space, so I guess I'd be locked into over-the-shoulder third person shooters. I probably wouldn't be too happy about that, since that doesn't leave me with a whole lot of options that I'm aware of besides Dead Space and Resident Evil 4. That's unless I'm getting locked into third person shooters in general, which opens up a lot more options, but I'd still be unhappy with it since I'd never be able to play a Half-Life game again.

Was last playing Mount & Blade: Warband
Has something of a rpg, though not that much, so as the guy 3 above, can't really genre lock me.
Would have rather had RTS though. Should have started up EU:III before coming here

What genre does Mount & Blade fall under anyway? There some RPG stuff in it, but it could also be strategy or action.

So I'm locked onto FPS.

Meh, it's not like it matters. Team Fortress is the only FPS I play. :/
