I say Zee, I think it's from Sesame Street teaching me the alphabet.

It's 'zee', just like it's pronounced 'ah-bout' and not 'a-boot'. (at least that's what I think)

I say Zee because it's the American way!

But I really should start saying Zed. Ever since Gaz said LZed I always thought it sounded cool.
I do however agree with this. (I'd only say L-Zed to annoy my brothers. They hate it when I say 'bugger off', 'bloody hell' and etc.)

Zed makes me think of D more than Z. I'll stick with zee it's more phonetic, even though I know most other letters aren't. If I said zed my simple brain would make me call zebras zedbras.

I wasn't even aware that "zee" was a pronunciation unique to the US until just now.

The only thing even remotely decent about that show...
Fun fact: My ex-girlfriend is nicknamed "Zee." Thanks for bringing up terrible memories, yo.

Wait... zed? I have never head this before. That's how you're supposed to say it? What?

Damn the American school system, DAMN IT. It lied to me for all these years.

I'm American, so I say, 'Zee.' Usually.

Occasionally, I'll spend too much time watching Top Gear and I'll start letting 'Zeds' and 'Coo-PAYS' slip. Then whoever I'm talking to gives me a look and I need to explain myself and it's awkward.

I never learned my alphabet from A to Zed

We should all compromise and pronounce it "izzard" so we're all equally uncomfortable (except the weirdos who actual say it like that). Seriously though, since I grew up around both "zee" and "zed", I can say with absolutely no bias whatsoever that "zee" is superior because "zed" has two different consonant sounds in it and that greatly annoys me for some reason. We should also pronounce the letters H as "hay" and W as "woo!" (exclamation mandatory) to stay consistent. The alphabet really needs a metric-style reboot.
